The Solution

We created a custom application for The Australian College of Dermatologists based on the Code Igniter and WordPress platforms. The new application includes features such as; members search, management of committees, CPD course management, facilities and positions management, a custom reporting engine, industry contacts and an email log.

Benefits and features

Business management and productivity

The flexible course management tool allows admins to have complete control over the course hierarchy. The new management tool allows each branch to have CPD variables assigned at each level. Due to the customisable nature of this tool it will be relevant for years to come.

The new member management system incorporates ‘Find a colleague’ whereby members can search based on filters such as name, distance, state and area of interests. Members have total control of what items are shared and searchable.

Business intelligence

The system incorporates both a system history log, where a trail of all system changes can be seen, and an email log of all system generated emails. Therefore, all data is stored and readily accessible.
