Hilton Worldwide holdings is one of the largest and fastest growing hospitality companies in the world, with more than 4,300 operating hotels, resorts and timeshare properties comprising more than 715,000 rooms in 94 countries and territories. Hilton Worldwide flagship brand required a solution which allowed both the human resources and finance teams to record their daily tasks, so that time metrics could be generated.


The Solution

We created a custom time tracking internal system for Hilton hotel brand. This system lists and details tasks to all their Asia Pacific Regional users and the time spend on each of the tasks. We also developed a manageable administrative back-end application for the Hilton hotel group which allows the task and daily summaries to be exported.

Not only this, the server is also hosted in Singapore which allows its multi-regional users global fast access. This results in better productivity for Hilton’s staff members including better tracking of when and the amount of time it takes to complete the tasks allocated.


Business intelligence

Powerful reporting tools enable admin users to gather and view daily Task Summary reports.These are easily accessed and managed by staff and can be filtered based on factors such as users and regions. As a result, there is better visibility in terms of the operations of the business and also helps the team members to make better decisions in streamlining this process.

The site is equipped with an SSL certificate ensuring a secure connection is always maintained. The site was also built using the latest tools and technologies at the time, ensuring that the platform is kept well up-to date and running smoothly during it’s day-to-day business operations.


Greater accuracy

Task time is initiated from the point of Login and then auto updates the task time on logout for each user.This ensures that tasks are recorded accurately and can be effectively measured against internal key performance indicators (KPI’s) of the business.


The Task Management & Time Tracking Application utilises a Linux with Cpanel server and Apache 2.x web server. It was built using MySQL database and programming languages used included PHP, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and JQuery.
