Over the years, Thalgo has become a strong contender in the Wellness and Beauty sector. Today, Thalgo is already recognized as a World Leader in Professional Marine Cosmetics and considered to be a pioneer in Thalassotherapy.
Using OpenCart as the selected platform, Intergy Consulting developed a custom eCommerce site for Thalgo Australia listing and detailing all of its products and services through a manageable administrative back end. The Thalgo website is built using the latest Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques resulting in immediate generic Google rankings that surpassed the client’s expectations. Spa or Salon Locator
The Spa or Salon Locator achieves its goal of by just a few simple clicks, choose the state and enter your postcode. This feature allows Thalgo clients to find the nearest spa or salon to them, with over 500 available branches it can be sometimes hard to choose. BLC web admins can manage salon and spa listings. The Google Map API was used for the locator function of the site, and simplifies the updating of addresses for staff, whilst still giving users a familiar mapping UI.
This function received overwhelming response from site visitors.
The site is equipped with guide section featuring five categories namely: Face, Body, Men, Bio, and Sun Care. Each section has a form that contains question/s. The site visitor’s response is then managed by BLC web admins and based on the results, product recommendations are provided directly to the user.
The site’s blog is utilised for posting articles, announcement details, and news releases regarding all things Thalgo.
The site is equipped with secure payment gateway to strengthen customer service and increase convenience and satisfaction integrating with NAB’s Transact product.
The site is integrated with social media platforms to enhance the market reach of the brand. Currently the web site is connected to both Facebook and YouTube.
The site has a “My Account” section which allows clients to register and be part of the Thalgo Australia Community. Under this feature, clients can opt to have Thalgo newsletters delivered to them regarding new products, promotions, and sampling opportunities. This section has the previous basket function as well which serves as an historical history of previous orders from the Thalgo shopping cart.
